Yay! So great! My husband and I have LOA for a sweet boy in Chonqging, too! This is so exciting to follow along with you all and see what we will be doing in just a couple of months!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to help! It has been an emotional whirlwind! Is your son from the Children's Welfare Institute of Chongqing City? We will be visiting on Thursday and taking pictures. Maybe you could spot your son in one?
DeleteYes, he is! He just turned 2 and has an extra thumb on his right hand. Maybe you can spot him :) He's Rawlins from the Lifeline list. (Oh, and I found your blog from the Huttos. We live in Chelsea.)
DeleteOh, he's so cute! He's right above Zac (Redd) on the lifeline list! We will do our best to find him! Two Chongqing boys! So amazing! What are the chances!
DeleteWe mentioned to our guide that we want to try to find your son tomorrow. He said we might need his Chinese name. If you feel comfortable, email us @ mail.horton@gmail.com and we will see what we can do!
DeleteWhat?? You got a ceremony??? That's cool! Our's was very much a "business as usual" event. Love all the pics!!
ReplyDeletePrecious! What a sweet little boy! Excited for your family...brings back memories times two for us :). Enjoy every minute.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteWonderful story! My name is Angelica and I am a nursing student. I am taking a sociology class and am doing a visual essay. I've been reading your blog as a different more personal king of research and I am glad I found it ! The topic I chose was different ways to become a parent. Would you mind if i used your pictures? They display exactly what I'm writing about as far as becoming a parent by adoption. They would only be used and seen by my instructors and fellow students. Thank you for sharing your journey!
